The drive to build ever larger and faster yachts has never been at the cost of on-board luxury and comfort. This was demonstrated in 2003 with the launch of the Wellenreiter. This yacht measures 45 m [147 ft.] in length, incorporates countless innovations and is exceptionally fast, as well as being supremely comfortable and luxuriously equipped.

Speed, comfort and luxury were also characteristics of the Scorpione dei Mari, a Jongert 2900 M built in 2005, and the Ithaka, a Jongert 2700 M built in 2007. In 2010, the Scorpione dei Mari won the three-day sailing challenge, The Super yacht Cup Palma. The Ithaka finished in third place amidst an international field of challengers.

Jongert also caught the attention of the Dutch royal family and was honoured with a royal visit from Queen Beatrix in 1994. The company was also invited to exhibit several of its yachts at the special Super Yacht pavilion opened in Amsterdam during the SAIL 2005 event.
